Present: K.C. Bretzke, Jennifer Gahnstrom, Jan Werness, Walter Lockhart
Property Tax Exemption –
We received a second letter saying we need to file for a property tax exemption by March 11, 2016. When we discussed this earlier we thought we didn’t need to do so because we no longer own a parsonage. Churches are generally exempt, however we need to do this because of our rentals. KC will call the city and request an extension and clarify what lease documentation is required. She and Jennifer will work on this together. We will need Carrie to run some numbers when she gets back from vacation. Walter and Jan will complete the application on Friday if no extension is granted.
Apportionments –
Jan will talk to Carrie about paying apportionments. We want to pay $750 per month.

Minutes from the January meeting were tabled until our next meeting.
