Rental or Use of Walker Church Building

The Walker Church building at 3104 16th Ave S, Minneapolis, is open for rentals, with some restrictions in place as we monitor the ongoing spread of COVID. Please reach out to the office at office@walkerchurch.org for inquiries.

To schedule a rental: 

If you are interested in holding an event at Walker Church, please contact the Walker Church office by email at office@walkerchurch.org or by phone at 612-722-6612.  Office hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 12 pm to 5 pm. Please schedule an appointment to view the building or for other rental inquiries. After negotiating your terms, you will sign a contract. The office will provide you with all the information about site management, rules of use, and access codes you may need.

Terms for renting and notes on accessibility:

  • Masking in the building is mandatory. Your guests are allowed to unmask solely for the purpose of eating and drinking, but otherwise you must have your mask on at all times, no exceptions.
  • Singing is not allowed inside at this time.
  • We have two HEPAA air filters available for your use.
  • We have an accessible parking spot reserved in front of the building. Our building is outfitted with flat and wide walkways, an elevator, automatic doors and accessible bathrooms. We encourage our community to keep the space scent-free. We do not allow for candles or smoke in the building. Please reach out to us with any other accessibility needs and requests for your events.
  • All events must end and close up at 10pm. Clean-up must be done by midnight. We hold to this rule very strictly to respect our neighbors and the surrounding community. This time restriction is non-negotiable.
  • Rental rates for a given space are variable, dependent on the size, timing, and impact on the space that your group will have. We have updated our rates to match the costs required to continue operating the building. Please reach out to our office for more details.
  • We do not have a parking lot, but street parking within a few blocks of the building in our neighborhood is usually easy to find.

  • Es obligatorio llevar mascarilla dentro del edificio. Sus invitados son permitidos a beber y comer dentro del edifico, pero aparte de eso, requerimos que use una mascarilla.
  • No se permite cantar dentro del edificio.
  • Tenemos dos filtros de HEPAA para su uso.
  • Hay un sitio accesible para aparcar en frente del edificio. El edificio tiene pasarelas planas y anchas, un ascensor, puertas automáticas, y baños accesibles. Fomentamos a la comunidad que mantenga el espacio sin olor. No permitimos velas ni humo. Favor de contactarnos si tiene otras necesidades de accesibilidad.
  • Todos los eventos tienen que terminar y cerrarse a las 10pm. Pueden quedarse a limpiar hasta medianoche. Somos muy estritos con esta regla para respetar a nuestros vecinos y la comunidad. Esta restricción es innegociable.
  • Los precios son variable, dependiendo de cuantas invitados hay, cuantas horas rentan, cuando rentan, y que tipo de evento organiza. Favor de mandar un mensaje a nuestra oficina para mas detalles.
  • No tenemos aparcadero, pero normalmente se puede encontrar espacio en las calles cercanas en el vecindario.

  • A beautiful theatre/sanctuary with a wood floor, moveable chairs, a stage, a green room, a grand piano, and flexible lighting
  • A medium-sized conference room next to a kitchenette

Upstairs:

  • A sunny dining hall that seats 100 with views over the surrounding Powderhorn neighborhood

Smaller offices:

  • Currently we have a meditation room and a conference room available for smaller group meetings
