SOFFA support group:  Wednesday, May 11, 6:30 pm to 8 pm.  This support group for family and friends of transgender people meets every Wednesday in the mediation room.  It is free and open to new participants, but contact them before coming at soffamn@yahoo.com

Ecstatic Movement:  Wednesday, May 11, 7:30 pm to 9 pm.  This movement and dance group for adults who are playful, sassy, fun-loving, fierce, curious, introspective, and adventurous on the dance floor meets every Wednesday in the sanctuary. Hoop Twin Cities:  Thursday, May 12, 7 to 8 pm. Free hoola hooping for all ages. FFI hoopjeans@gmail.com After this evening they will meet in parks for the summer & be back at Walker in the fall.

Walker Men’s Potluck Brunch:  Saturday, May 14, 9:30 am to noon.  The brunch is held the 2nd Saturday of each month in the conference room.  FFI Jim  Feldman

Private Transforming Families Group:  Saturday, May 14, 12:30 to 3:30 pm.  This private support group for families with transgender children meets the 2nd Saturday of each month.  If you are interested in becoming a part of this group contact the Walker office for more information.

The Story Worship Celebration:  Sunday, May 15, 4 pm.  Worship celebrations are held the 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month.  We view ourselves as a messy community embracing the call to whole-heartedly follow Jesus, love our neighbor, and cultivate beauty in our world. Walker Morning Coffee Gathering:  Monday, May 16, 10 am to noon.  The group gathers for coffee every Monday at Lake Street Coffee.  3223 East Lake St.  Everyone is welcome and you can come any week.

Private CUHCC workshop:  Tuesday, May 17, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Walker Community Meal:  Tuesday, May 17, 6 pm to 7 pm (doors open at 5:30)   Free meals are held every Tuesday and everyone is welcome. This meal will be coordinated by the Kitchen Cabinet.

Walker Singers Rehearsal:  Tuesday, May 17, 7 to 8 pm led by Jim McCreary.

After this rehearsal the Singers will take a summer break and begin rehearsing again this fall.

Rosen Movement:  Wednesday, May 18, 9 am to 10 am.  This informal group of simple and effective movement with music meets every Wednesday in the sanctuary.  It costs $5 to $10 and is open to everyone and you can come any week.  The first time you come it is free.  FFI Phyllis Wiener wienerphyllis@gmail.com

Our thoughts and prayers are with Paul McHugh on the death of his mother Rosemary McHugh.

Pastor Walter Lockhart will be attending the Methodist Annual Conference in Portland until Saturday, May 21.  He will be available by phone during this time. If a need for pastoral care arises you can call him.
